2018 Financial Statement Updates

The 2018 Financial Statement updates are now available on AMU Portal Reference Center for the manufacturers listed below. To access these documents, search using keywords: 2018 FS Updates.

• BMW, Chrysler / Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Maserati, Mitsubishi, and Toyota (TMS) / Lexus

Note: There are NO CHANGES to the following manufacturers Financial Statements for the 2018 model year:

• Acura, Mazda, and Suzuki

Note:* Remaining 2018 financial statements are currently in testing & we anticipate they will be available January 22nd.

 

2018 Federal Withholding Tax Table Information

The Early Release of the 2018 Federal Withholding tax tables and notable changes information is now available. For those dealers that are using the old version of the Payroll Module, the updated document is now available on the AMU Portal Reference Center and also in the “2017 Suggested Payroll Year End Guidelines” announcement on the AMU Message Center.

It’s that time again! – The 2017 1099 & W-2 Forms and ACA Forms Printing

 

2017 1099 / W-2 Forms and ACA Form Printing Subscription Ordering

The ordering information for 2017 1099 and W-2 Forms are now available. The information provides ordering quantities, pricing, and two ways to place your orders (via email or phone).

We also have the ordering or renewal information for the ACA Form Printing Subscription.
All the ordering work orders, pricing, and information are on the AMU Portal Message Center.

 

F&I BILLING AND DESK/MATE

2018 Tax and Fee Calculations changes reminder for California, Georgia, and Oregon dealers

Effective Jan 1st 2018:

California dealers will need to update the Vehicle License Fee calculation

Georgia dealers will need to make adjustments to how they tax Leases

Oregon dealers be advised that 0.5% Sales Tax will be applicable on all Cash / Retail / Lease deals

 

Parts & Service Modules

Don’t forget to modify any applicable Tax Rate changes in the Parts and Service Modules. The Quick Reference Guides are available on the AMU Portal Message Center.

 

RECENT ENHANCEMENTS

Enhancements included in the latest software releases:

Commission Vouchers in Desk/Mate

• This new feature allows you to print out a Commission Recap/Voucher.

AMPS Texting Admin View

This new feature will allow you to share texting screens in the AMPS texting application and also reply on behalf of another texting user (with the correct permission). This enhancement will be released soon.

Warn or Require customer information in the Name Database

The Unified Name Database now has a new feature that allows the System Administrator to either require specific information in a Name File or to warn an employee that certain information is missing.
